Belonging to one of our four Houses is an integral part of life at Sancta Maria.
Taurus
Symbolised by the bull, Taurus represents strength, honesty, perseverance, and teamwork. Members of Taurus approach challenges with determination and resilience, showing tenacity in their efforts and pride in their achievements.
Aquila
Symbolised by the eagle, Aquila reflects courage, ambition, and unity. Aquila students demonstrate a strong winning mindset, striving for excellence with confidence, bravery, and a sense of collective purpose.
Draco
Symbolised by the dragon, Draco stands for courage, wisdom, and leadership. Draco students are known for their determination, resourcefulness, and willingness to take thoughtful risks in pursuit of growth and improvement.
Leo
Symbolised by the lion, Leo embodies confidence, loyalty, and boldness. Bright, energetic, and enthusiastic, Leo students approach challenges with optimism, resilience, and a strong sense of pride in their House and school.
Each student is allocated a House when they join Sancta Maria and remains part of that House throughout their school journey. Through House points, activities, and events, students are recognised for effort, achievement, and positive contribution. The House system encourages meaningful connections across year groups and strengthens the sense of community that defines Sancta Maria.
